All treatment for COVID-19 that is medically necessary is covered by Kaiser and Anthem and does not vary by state. Copays and co-insurance apply for treatment. The COVID vaccine is covered at 100 percent through our Kaiser and Anthem health plans.

If prescribed by a medical provider and if the provider designates it is medically necessary, a COVID-19 test is covered at 100 percent throughout Kaiser and Anthem health plans. For all COVID-19 tests that are not medically necessary, Kaiser and Anthem will not provide coverage.
